Bird watching is one of my favorite hobbies. I used to prowl around camera in hand on the lookout for my feathered biped friends. Most of the time I was lucky to capture something beautiful.
This is one of those times when I could capture a private moment of my friends. Living in high rises means you can see birds all the time. If you count pigeons as birds, because they were always around. Well, I hated pigeons because I just had a balcony garden and they would break my plants, make their nests in them and dirty the whole balcony , my window to the world of nature.
However, I did admire them when they didn’t interfere with my privacy. Here are a couple sitting on the arch of my friend’s balcony. They seemed so much in love that they would not let any air flow between them. I took a few pictures of them, but this one seems to display them both in the best light.
They did throw a few glances at me , but they didn’t seem to mind me clicking away. I guess they did realize that such love needs to be immortalized on the world wide web.
Here is another gallery of pictures of birds in love.

Thank you tasartcraft, I agree you need to capture the right moment.
It’s wonderful to see such a lovely scene. I am still saving for my camera.
Sharon Lopez I have seen some lovely pictures from your phone too.
They and you share the most beautiful moments to be reported to the world.
Albert Herdianto Widjojo, truly a moment too sweet not to be shared with this world. Thanks for the sweet comment.
You are very much welcome, Dawn.
They’re so sweet, and this is such a unique photo! ?
Thank you sabtraversa, it was too sweet a moment not to be photographed.
I am not into photography much, but I like checking out others’ photos
Thank you Abhishek for checking this out, I hope you liked it.
Another proof of this site that the love of the birds is magnificent. Whenever I walk, Nikon is with me. Photography is my hobby.
Yes, its inspiring to see the love for birds and nature here. Your Nikon serves you well.
Or they two are exchanging opinions on the current reality around them!
Nice picture, I as well love to capture the moments around me!
Doc, I don’t think they were doing anything as mundane as that, but who knows?
who knows perhaps they are old friends exchanging the recipe for monkey bread!
LOL now that is a high possibility!!?
I think in this picture bother are thinking and planning for future may be for family planning, hahaha
Maybe, but I guess they had much more romantic things on their mind at that precise moment.
It is a beautiful picture of love and yes I take my phone everywhere I go to it is to leave me
???
I love your response, so your phone is who you are? ?
Thank you I’m a human?
I was just kidding, not meaning to make you feel bad.
I know it’s just a joke you are my friend from virily
Love the pigeons, I am always walking around with my digital camera, I have a lot of photos uploaded in my PC
And I bet Sid accounts for most of your pictures , just kidding.
Sid is the main subject when at home and one time got so excited he ran up against the digital camera and wound up taking a cat selfie, Dawn.
Wow, Sid must be the first cat to take a selfie. Smart Sid!! ?
Kinda yes and no…
I’ve a phone with me all the time, I can take photo when I want but then always not quick enough :/
Hmm .. no that is a tricky spot to be in. That does happen to all of us at times, I guess.
Wonderful picture … I’m walking with a phone just do not always have it in my hand … when I see a bird and before I pull the phone out of the bird flying
Birds are flighty creatures, they are the hardest to take pictures of.
I totally agree with you … birds and butterflies are very lively
Yes I do always enjoy photography.
Even though I have been on this site only for a couple of weeks now I guess I know a little about your love for photography.
