I was out looking at my garden early this morning. This yellow Day Lily is one of the last ones that remain in my garden. They have been very nice to enjoy once again. Their yellow color always makes me smile, reminding me of the sun. They will return next year all around my house. The yellow and green contrast is my favorite part as well. Do you have a favorite flower you look forward to seeing?

I have several favorite flowers, but sunflower is definitely my number one. 🙂
Sunflowers are great, like a ray of sunshine.
That’s quite a poetic way to describe them. 🙂
I always look at sunflowers like that.
It is awfully hard to select just one flower as a favorite when they are all so magnificent, but anemone would be near the top of my list. At least in the top 100 of so, RFLOL.
I know what you mean Ann. It was hard to think of ones to list.
Yes, the lilies are about gone. I try to keep seasonal layers going so that various blooms can follow each other. Zinnias are faithful through the summer and often into fall, but the new repeat bloomers in the hydrangea family (and a few others) are a big help in keeping some blooms in the garden. Picking a favorite is hard…perhaps the one currently blooming. :- )
I know, me too. The tiger lilies are almost done as well. They last a little longer than these. I need to get some zinnias. My hydrangea has barely bloomed this year. But the three rose of sharon bushes are still in full bloom.
I love tulips but they don’t last long 🙁
I know, they are stunning for only a short time.
I love flowers, and also have my favorite yellow rose.
Yes the yellow rose is fantastic.
I am glad you left yes and no in there. lol I can’t pick one favorite. Glads, nothing more showy than a grand display of glads. I love all the colors they come in, and are great for flower arrangements. They also look great growing I think. Who couldn’t love the giant off white flowers of a beautiful evergreen like the Magnolia. The lily, from its tiniest variety to the beautiful pink and white of the Star Gazer, they look great in any garden and do really well in arrangement. As do all the flowers you listed. The smell of Honeysuckle and your pretty red ones you share with us, and who couldn’t love a rose!
I am in the same boat Kim, thanks for commenting.
I love all colours. It depends on what is next to one colour.
Yes I love them all as well Pam.
I love flowers. and also have my favorite Red Rose 🙂
That is a great favorite!
Yeah Thanks and You’re Favorite?
Great photo, and that is a lovely flower! I’m not sure what my favorite is…there are a lot of great flowers!
Thanks Courtney, same here, I love them all.
I love the smell and look of the honeysuckle flower. Your flower here is so pretty! I can spot your post before I have even seen your name lol.
Yes I do too, thank you very much. That is kind!
I love flowers but there is nothing favorite. They are beautiful, just like your lily!
Thank you Albert, they are day brighteners.
You’re welcome, Carol. Yep. they are day brighteners indeed!
what if my favorite wasn’t on the list 🙂 I am pretty sure my favorite flower is not other not listed!
Sorry, the poll needs editing, would be nice if we could do that after it is published.
It was a great poll, I was yanking your chain as they say. I would like to edit posts, add questions to polls etc however so I agree!
Yes I think we should have that option, but they didn’t ask.
Sorry I should have taken the Yes and No out of the poll. Just vote for your favorite.
thought the yes or no is a good addition…
I usually prefers seeing fruits though flowers are prettier :p
Thanks for your kind comment.
