Here it seems like many people like to keep koi fish in outdoor pond. Chinese also likes to have the koi drawings on Chinese New Year greeting cards. I read that it symbolizes strength and also good fortune. The word koi comes from Japanese, and koi is also a symbol of love and friendship in Japan as it’s a homophone for another word that means affection or love.
I don’t know why I always like to see kois swimming. Perhaps I think they are colorful and they always seem to swim peacefully.

Now is the time of year when people bring the Koi into the indoor aquarium in my part of the world.
I do not know more about that kind of fishes but thanks for giving me that kind of information
I have seen them but never had any in my yard.
I would love to have a koi pond. Yes, they are popular here in San Diego County for sure.
I like staring at the Koi fishes. There’s a huge pond of Koi fishes near my place and we used to go there every weekends.
I have seen those fish in a zen garden, they were in a lake.
I think that it is interesting to look at different fish swimming. I used to have a goldfish that one of my kids won in a school carnival. It was fun to watch it swim around the tank.
I have no such belief unfortunately but I do know there are so many beliefs and there are enough believers.
