My all-time favorite America Football player is Walter Payton. I saw him running back kickoffs in his first game as a Chicago Bear. I remember telling my grandfather he is going to be special.
He was, probably more special as a human being than as a football player. And in my book, he was the greatest football player ever in the NFL.

I am a long time Chicago Bears fan. I will never forget watching Payton play.

I grew up in Minneapolis and Chicago was an 8-hour car ride from us. I remember Walter Payton and when he played against our Vikings naturally I rooted for the Vikings. The Bears were a very good football team. I have no clue as to how they are now. I left the States in 1986 and have not followed football since and do not follow sports here.
The Bears have been average, the Vikings have had a couple of pretty good teams. I miss Payton, but time passes for all things.
Sport is now up and running again and I am terribly enjoying the live coverage on tv.
that is good – we don’t have full sports in the US yet but it is close.

i find myself doing that often. I also read some things and have to go find two or three other sources (trust but verify!)
