Doc started this Just for Fun series awhile back. He has shared the many places he has visited. The entire world it seems. 🙂
I have not visited many places. But I do have many nature stories, as you all know. Maybe I could try something a little different with some of my photos. I will add a short story to this one. And then I will see where my mind takes me from here.
A weed is a plant that wants to grow where people want something else to grow. When we blame nature, people mistake the culprit. Weeds are people’s idea, not nature’s.
I often pull up the weeds from my yard and garden. Lately I have let some of these flowers, not weeds, grow where they want. The yard is theirs as much as mine. I will share the dirt with these lovely sprouts of nature.
More of the little things I am learning to appreciate in life.

I think dandelions are special to watch blow all around.
I often let the weeds that grow in my back yard. Some type of weed is also beautiful.
awesome – what a great way to join the challenge!
I am a weed, but I came from a seed.
I am a weed and I grew tall.
I am a weed, but they call me human now.
Trying to start out small and build up as I have more time. You are a poet for sure.
thanks although in fairness I did have great inspiration – i love the picture!
The photo and your challenge combined is where the inspiration came from.
well in this case the artistic took crayons and made a Picasso!
Dandelions remind me of Childhood!
Me too, good to see you!
Wonderful photo as a child I always loved to blow the wisps off the dandelions.
We did the same, good memories. Thanks!
That’s such a wonderful perspective, Carol! Dandelions are beautiful, especially in this stage.
Was trying to share a few simple thoughts for now. I agree.
Nice photo, Carol.
Yeah, Doc seems to have traveled all over the planet. He even spent three days here in the Philippines. 🙂
Yes I know, I wrote something a little personal here.
***Forget to add this photo is a Dandelion taken in my back yard earlier.
