When we moved from Indiana to Maryland my wife got really excited about the concept of planned communities. She really wanted to live in one.
We choose the Kentlands in Gaithersburg MD.

It seems simple, to move from one city to another. It isn’t. I am amazed, my parents did it in a much rougher time to move. Always amazing what people can do!

I understand you. I really like to watch similar documentaries.
It is funny, none of my kids do. They run from the room when I turn them on. Now, i clear the room on purpose and just turn them on!
I notice that too. I don’t understand why they don’t watch shows like that.
i suspect for me the answer is simple. When I was a kid, those were the best shows on TV, so now to me, they are the best shows.
My kids have 170 channels to choose from and a metric ton of streaming. Who needs one favorite when you have the universe!
We have about 250 programs but sometimes the grandchildren don’t know what to watch.

When I was 10 my entertainment was a mile from my house. But then the world revealed that there were bad people out there.
my kids at 10 had to be within 100 yards of the house.
