Today is Pink Out for breast cancer. A portion of the revenue will go directly to the men and women who are battling breast cancer “right now”. Since my husbands’ sister died from breast cancer we try and pick the best charity to help others who are dealing with the situation.
The picture you see to the right will be the hat I wear today. I am very excited.
(It’s also another claiming day! Wonder what we will do!)
i have lost four friends in the past 30 years to this horrible disease! I wore my pink shirt yesterday as we were out and about on errands!
It is and I happy to support and learn more about helping others.
My wife, working in Hospice, sees a lot of people losing the battle, She always wears pink to support!
One of the biggest reason of breast cancer is not feeding children with breast and feeding children with artificial milk.
I have heard that, and I have not been able to find the research on it.
A lot needs to be done to eradicate this disease. Wonder if there is a place they do research to find out a cure.
The Huntsmans Cancer Institute says they do research. I have not personally check it out.
A great thing to do in her honor. I will do the same as I have lost family to breast cancer.
I think it is a great way to enjoy a day and support a cause.
