The Japanese honeysuckle blooms are getting ready to bloom in my yard.
I snapped a photo of the vine and leaves while out walking around in the yard after the rain.
I love the smell form these blooms. Another childhood memory to hold onto.
The birds, butterflies and hummingbirds love these blooms.

The wet smell of plants and the scent of flowers are part of my life because since childhood I like gardening. You know we’re the same hobbyists, right?

one of the newest treatments for Alzheimer’s is using aromatherapy, but it has to smell as you said that take us back!
I did not know that, how wonderful as I believe it can work for most of us.
my wife is always looking for ways to recreate smells.
So she is in tune with what I am talking about as well.
she is, she has a lot of patients with Alzheimer’s and is constantly trying to connect with them.
Please post a picture when they are in full bloom… Also if you do not mind post pictures of everything in your garden…. Just keep on posting and stay safe in your garden…

That is lovely. The scents of lilacs and jasmine take me back in time to when I lived in Latvia.
