Sharing one of my holly leaves. These are all round my home. They are evergreen. They stay green year round and they have red berries the birds enjoy.
I love having evergreen in my yard. No matter the weather there is always some green to see.
Those little things in life I enjoy. Nature brings me joy in so many ways.

Thanks. Both cats love these too because the little birds hide underneath and they can see them out most windows.
i bet they love that! our branches are down so far, that I have to duck under to see the bird feeder. that is why the birds aren’t in the picture!
All our plants are ever green. I understand how it must be to live without greenery.
That is nice Dawn. It can be depressing not to see green in the winter.
Very lovely plant. I was used to living with evergreen trees in Latvia now I live with evergreen palm trees

Thanks, I love these and they are good to keep around your windows in case you have potential burglars. They will get stuck by the thorns. 🙂 Thankfully that hasn’t happened that I am aware of.
And yes, snow looks great on the dark evergreen.
