When I talk about noticing the little things in life, there are so many to be on the lookout for. Today I was in the backyard at the bird bath and noticed a grey feather on the ground. Most people would probably keep walking. But I picked it up and I think it is a dove feather. I also researched to find the meaning behind the different colored feathers you find.

Grey feathers can symbolize peace, as well as neutrality. If you see a grey feather in your path, your angels may be trying to tell you that the answer to a certain situation may not be as straightforward as a yes or no. I also read more about the grey feather.
My message for today….
The grey feather might have appeared to reassure you that the road ahead is much more positive. The feather will not undo the past nor will it erase bad memories, but it could help to ease your pain and suffering.
Whether you have lost your job or someone you care about has passed away, the grey feather could be trying to tell you that everything will be okay. It might not seem like it at the moment but you are a strong person and you will survive this.
So the next time you find a feather, pay attention! Although the most common feather sent from angels is white, angel feathers can come in all kinds of colors. You have the choice to believe or not.

Well, this is very cool. I bet you find all of the colors throughout the year in your yard. I need to save this, and give it to my daughter in law. She has heard of butterflies meaning the same thing, different kinds for different messages from those who are on the other side.
I most often find white. We have a lot of egrets at the creeks. Also, I find a lot of grey and brown ones. I save my hawk feathers. Those are also a sign. I do believe that spirits leave signs. Three days after my sister passed she visited all three of us, myself, my sister, and my mom. She said the same things to us on the same night within one hour of each other. Since then, we find a two dimes and a penny. All of us, which is odd, I haven’t ever heard of that. I find these on the streets, in the dryer, hiking, in the couch..all over the place. Two dimes, one penny. Thanks for sharing this.
We have a lot of gray pigeons in the park. I often see feathers like this.
LOL, I’m getting just black feathers, those are what the pet bird have … LOL
But I guess I’ll look harder when I’m outside :p

Thanks, it was personal and I understand many do not agree. But I feel strongly about these little signs I often get.
I have also read that seeing number patterns more often than usual could be a message from the angels, as well as random pleasant scents and sounds.
Never heard about the numbers but I have had the scents and sounds.
