Forgive and Forget

Over the years I have sometimes fallen out with people both online and offline. I tend to say what I think which has sometimes got me in hot water. However over time I usually calm down and realise I don’t want to be on bad terms with anyone and if the argument is not too serious I will try to heal the rift as I know I am not perfect and sometimes not without blame.

Holding a grudge is not good although it does depend on what two people fell out about. Today I am visiting a friend I fell out with several years ago. We have both mellowed since the falling out and have missed each other so hopefully everything that happened in the past will be forgotten and we can carry on with our friendship which I always valued despite our differences.

  1. I have the same problem as you (both online and offline), and I am very sensitive so I can react very badly sometimes… Sometimes such people actually are not letting you forgive and/or forget because I believe people will actually stay the same because that is who they are so I was forgiving and forgetting a lot but then I became even more hurt because of that…
I also, unfortunately, had such problems here, and unfortunately people don’t understand who I am actually and that what I’m actually trying to do is to promote “being better”…

  2. I hate holding grudges because it makes it difficult for me to live with myself. I am always the first to try and make up or if the person is too toxic keep away from them. I prefer to say nothing if I don’t have anything good to say to anyone.
