the door is closing
the light
squeezed pushed through the decreasing space
and yet
the sound completes the moment.
clunk. the click of metal touching metal
but not hugging
simply grasping
pushing the air through the door
forcing the light to the crack
and then silence. As we wonder
what
or why
we saw.
the tense
leaving us to forget
perhaps to never recall.

I have plenty of stuff all around and two boxes of special documents and memories. I know the if and when I get the time I will put on some of my favorite music really loud and sit and enjoy my time looking through those boxes.
that sounds like a wonderful plan!
I have some boxes that I haven’t opened in a long time. I think the time will come when I open them.
i always wonder about that, i have two boxes that moved from Indiana to Maryland that I haven’t opened. i need to!
I have a lot of boxes. Sometimes I have to open some of them to find what I need. I am thinking of putting a list on each of its contents. My relatives are kidding me about this idea. There are times when I have to close the door.
i think boxes with labels is a great idea!
Oh! There are really people who are so organized they label the boxes. Wow.
there are i am not, now one of them, but my wife is!
Many times I have to close the door, in my mind. And yes many boxes left unopened. Maybe one day I will open them.
the boxes we have, there are those we fear, those we hate, those we love and those we have forgotten opening them can be great, ok or sad.
Nope, I don’t wonder at all! It is all stuff that I am not allowed to touch.
that is always the hardest stuff to stay away from
