there in the distance, not a train
the sound
the rattling of the tracks
the light there in the distance
floating as if suspended in the air
in the distance.

dangling in the air the sound
of the wind
rustling the leaves
but resilient the leaves
hang onto the tree
i will not fall, they scream
as they weave in and out
of the molecules of wind.

I live in an island and along the coastline. At night time, from the open deck of the 3rd floor outside the bedroom, I can see the lights of fishermen fishing from afar. I watch them and the moon and the sky before I go to sleep.
i love seeing the lights from fishing boats at night.
Yeah. They look like fireflies from a distance. I grew up still seeing fireflies but they seem to be gone now
they are still around in the US, but much smaller numbers now.
I have solar lights and they are very pretty, nice post

I often get lost in lights, especially the glow of the moon.
i can watch the moon for hours!
