With winter firmly now behind us in some parts of the globe, we have summer and the hot weather to look forward to (we hope!) I was having a discussion with a friend once and she much prefers the cold and winter months, whereas I much prefer the hot sunshine and summer months. So this got me thinking. Which do you prefer? Do you prefer being out in the sunshine when it’s hot, or do you much prefer it in the winter time when it’s chilly outside and you can come home to a warm fire?

My favourite is spring, but I also like summer.
I prefer not too hot or too cold. Spring and autumn are my favorite seasons. And I’ve never been on a cruise, but think I’d prefer summer. I like land better than sea, and never swim in the ocean.
Yes, I’d prefer a summer cruise too. Spring is my favourite season when all the blossom trees and flowers are blooming. It’s such a pretty season.
I answered the poll with a smile because I only had two seasons; Rainy season and dry season.

I like the warm things when the weather is cold, more pleasant than the cold things when the weather is hot. I don’t know why, just my preference. 😀

I’ve actually never been on a cruise, summer or winter. I picked summer because, if I went on a cruise at all, I’d want it to be somewhere warm regardless of whether it was summer or winter at home.
Yes, I’d opt for the summer cruise as well for sure. Although I’m sure the winter cruises are just as lovely. I’d much prefer to be out on the decks in the warm though.
Much like Ellie, I prefer moderate weather but if I have to pick extremes then I’d go with hot- no question. Easier to strip down than to bundle up and I’d rather sweat than shiver…

both extremes will harm and then kill you, but I think cold is more dangerous to us in a systemic sense
I used to prefer the cold weather, but now I just want moderate temperatures. I always pick hot drinks, even in summer.
Yes, I do too. Though if it’s really hot I’ll get a diet pepsi or something to help cool me down.
