I love chestnuts, we use to eat it during autumn and it really warm us.
Chestnut is gluten-free, does not contribute to high cholesterol and is an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin B6.Because it is rich in protein and fiber, it is an attractive food from the point of view of appetite control, as it promotes the feeling of satiety. Remember that fiber is an excellent ally in regulating cholesterol levels and intestinal transit, not to mention that nuts are low in fat.As if that were not enough, it has phytochemical components and phenolic compounds, which are powerful antioxidants and cellular protectors.

they are a holiday tradition in our family now. I first had them in Paris many years ago!
I am not sure if we have chestnuts growing here, but I have not seen any chestnut trees before. I only saw roasted chestnuts. 😛
Only in tropical countries, not our country.
I love chestnuts. In fact, I have some in the fridge.
Roasted chestnuts are good and very healthy.
I saw it in supermarkets, but have tried only being abroad as it is not growing here, so we are not used to it.
Now is a good time for the chestnut, dear Nela … I prefer to buy it …. sometimes I pick it myself, it is only very small
Chest nuts are not available here but I have tasted them when I was holidaying in the US
