Jakarta’s traffic in the last few days to the next few weeks will be very quiet. This road, the road from the suburbs into the city that usually since the morning until evening will force all vehicles to roll away creeping, but not for this time. It is possible because ahead of Idul Fitri Day that will be celebrated by Muslims, will most residents of Jakarta will return to their hometown for several days.
On the contrary, on inter-city traffic lanes, every mile will probably spend several hours due to tremendous traffic jams. All modes of transportation are soaring in peak season, it’s almost useless to find tickets at this time. Even special transportation from the government and various companies left no place.
This is a very different atmosphere for at least the next two weeks!

Thank you very much, Branka. This is the first time I took pictures of this road.
We drove in to Malaysia for holidays… it took hours even without jam…
I usually KO throughout… lol
Long-haul road trips must be exhausting… underage children usually sleep…
I take that as a compliment :p
hahaha
You don’t have to feel guilty because you are n?t underage children.
Mentality wise, quite close so … am not that guilty…
haha
Tha’s great, my friend, that’s great!
Thank you so much, Tas. I have taken this picture this morning for being so happy to enjoy a smooth ride in the city that is unusual.
I know what you mean about the traffic. When I had my family, I would travel to see them and had to plan around traffic peak times. Is that you on the motorcycle? 🙂
On a typical day, the traffic here is very tiring.
Nope, that’s not me on a motorcycle, Carol. How can I take a picture of my back? lol
I am kidding, trying to make you smile. 🙂
Indeed, I did laugh when you asked.
Nice pictures and post
Thank you so much, Pamela. This is just an attempt to keep posting something in the middle of time constraints.
Nice image of Jakarta city streets.
This street is about 2.5 miles from my residence and still about 12.5 from the city center.
Thank you for telling me about it.
…and I’m glad to tell you about it. Hehe…
