Detective "I Hate Everyone"

A friend of mine sent me a book and this afternoon I got a big glass of refreshing beverage, a comfortable chair on the sun porch and read for a couple of hours. I am finding the book quite entertaining. The detective is one that is trying to prove that every character other than himself is on a secret mission to destroy the group. 

The group is a group of college students that are gathered and living in tents in the mountains in Idaho. It is sometimes hard to follow because there are quite a few characters in the story. (If my sister were reading it she would draw a diagram to keep it all straight. She is so organized.) 

I have renamed some of the characters so I don’t get mixed up about who wants to destroy or help whom and how many double agents they have identified. I believe in the end it will be every man for himself, but I could be wrong. 

I haven’t read this author before, and the style is very unique. I would guess that it will be finished before I go to sleep this evening.
