Destructive Bug in Garden

Day Lilies are starting to bloom in my garden. They are like sunshine with the bright yellow color. This morning I looked closer and noticed a bug on one of the blooms. Then I saw the holes in the bloom. I have never had bugs beat the Day Lily blooms before.

Anyone have an idea what this bug is and how I should deal with him?

    • Yes they are all part of the process, I just want to be able see my blooms. I have many buds and hope there is not more damage. I am not killing the bugs, not yet, because I don’t know who did the damage yet.
