Sharing a photo from my summer garden. The crimson crepe myrtle is a favorite. I have one large tree on the side of the house. And I planted three more last year. They seem to be doing great so far. Blooms on all. That is a good sign.
No blooms right now. During the winter the only color I see are the red holly berries. I found this photo in my archives and wanted to share a little color for everyone.
Trying to brighten our days up a little. It is overcast here, no sunshine today. But my photos often brighten my mood. Have a great day everyone. Appreciate the little things you have around you.

Such a beautiful flower! I think finding happiness in the little things is very important. Sometimes, little things are all we have.
I have never seen this type of bloom but I think it is very beautiful…Lovely shade of red and texture.
Tis beauty to see on a page in winter, the gentle flower.
thanks for bringing joy to the rest of us!
Love the beauty within this photo.
Beautiful flower. In this dark time, any view of the flower is welcome.
I am glad you enjoyed the flash of color.
How tall is your crepe myrtle? How often do you water it in the summer?
This one grows to the roof every year then it is cut back. No water unless we go too long without rain.
Nice picture, my dear friend
Thank you my friend. Hope you are good.
I’m fine, dear Carol … I hope you’re okay too
Yes thank you Lado, I am fine as well.
