Christmas tree-1

Finally, the time has come when we also have a Christmas tree at home. The evergreen tree has always been regarded as a symbol of life. As an interesting fact, I can say that evergreen trees began to be decorated in German cities only in the 18th century. Slovenes did not immediately accept this, since in World War II, in the countryside, smiles did not grow up. Today, there is hardly any man who would not have a Christmas tree at home. They have natural snakes, others are artificial again, like in our home. It’s true that natural beauty just starts to quickly dispose of needles when it is warm-artificial but it can stand as long as you want.

  1. It’s nice to see that Christmas tree is standing there, my friend. I only put up a Christmas tree in my mother’s house, and even then there will be not many who see it because this year’s family Christmas party will be celebrated at the home of my oldest sister.

      • Yes, but my tree is already decorated. We celebrate St. Nicolas, December 19. and then, traditionally decorate trees. January 7 is the New Year, and on January 13, the Orthodox New Year is celebrated. After that, we will pack our trees until next year.

        • But you can not celebrate how often you like … even we sometimes celebrated Orthodox Christmas and New Year’s while my grandfather was alive … he was Orthodox faith

  2. We weren’t going to bother with a tree at all downstairs, but the grandchildren are coming so tomorrow we will decorate a little tree with them. My brother has an interesting tree upstairs, maybe I will share that with you. I think it’s pretty creative.
