Blue, if you remember how the name was later given to him, have lived with us, become part of our family, for three months right on this date. I think, if I have to calculate his age, according to the input of friends here, I think Blue is around three months and seven days remembering a few days after we treated his eyes then opened.
From cats without a biological mother, weak, often sick, and other disorders, now he is very healthy, fat and very agile. One thing that is a challenge for him is that he is happy to bite – like other kittens – whether it’s a hand or a foot because he considers it a toy, or a game, or an opponent that must be conquered.
For all friends who have advised me about how to care for this cute kitten, I say thank you very much.

Did you know his coat pattern is quite rare? It is called ticked fur. He looks like a singapura cat. Google pictures.
Indeed I noticed that I rarely saw cats here like Blue’s coat pattern, and the vet said it too. Uniquely, Susie also has a similar though darker and slightly brownish. Ah, you make me love him even more.
You vet sounds like a great one from all youve said. Blue’s color is called white, they range from his color to a tan color and all the blues in between.
Do you know why he is called white? Part his fur and look at the color of it near his body. 🙂 Know you know, if you shaved him, he would be an all white cat. Don’t do that though, he would feel nakid. 😉
I know more about Blue now. I was quite surprised when the vet’s shaved feathers began to grow again, and also some of the points were bald due to previous skin disorders, all of them white, and it made him like a leopard. But gradually the color becomes gray like other body parts.

What a long way he has come. Thank you so much for the update. He is adorable, I just want to pick him up and squeeze him! Most kittens go through this but are taught by litter mates and mom. So, what you can do is that when he goes after hands or feet, pretend like hes done some damage, HOWL. Say ouch that hurt, then walk away and ignore him for a few moments. Won’t take long he will get the message. Remember to have him fixed in the next few months.

He really likes playing, and there are only us to play with. Susie, her stepmother, didn’t want to be approached again for a long time, besides she was also pregnant. Blue rarely targets my legs to be bitten but belongs to my wife and my two daughters. But he always eyeed my hand when I sat down. What is hard to guess is when he will bite my cheek or chin because he always sleeps by rubbing his head on my chin. So far, he doesn’t care to hear the “aawwwhh…” scream from anyone.

I agree with you. I remember Susie when she was a kitten, she also liked to bite her hands and feet.
Yes, make sure to get him fixed/neutered before his testosterone kicks in, he will start spraying the house and wondering off.
At what age can castration be done?
I suggest getting it done around 4-5 months. You’ll notice when he plays with the other cats his play will change to randy. He will start chasing and what appears to be beating up on the other cats. He is just feeling his manhood come in.

Blue reminds of two cats in the home. Mumps who is female like to use her claws to come into my lap. Burt who is male like to play with a fake mouse for his fun. Burt is around Blue’s age.
It must be nice and fun to be with them. Yes, Blue also likes to climb my feet with his claws to sit on my lap. He doesn’t care if I only wear shorts.
It is fun for my nephew who likes the cats inside his mom’s home.

I really like to have the presence of Raton Ramon, Mumps, Munster Cheese, Gilbert or Bert as he is nicknamed and the other cats inside the home.
These thread made me laugh. I used to let Nickle climb up my legs when she was that old. It was winter, and I always had pants on. My son on the other hand always wears shorts. She used to get him. he would look at me and say, you need to train her not to do that. I said she wont by the time summer hits. 😀

His name is Blue as you read. That call came when my daughter teases him for his hips, tail, and his butt turned blue after his fur was shaved and smeared of medicine by the vet.
Did he have worms or something?
About a week after being taken home, he released worms several times.
