Bled is one of the most popular and visited tourist destinations in Slovenia. The place is especially known for Bled Island, castle and lake. Bled Island is a small island located in the middle of Lake Bled and on which stands the interesting Baroque Church of the Assumption. You can go to the island with a traditional Bled boat called a sailboat and powered by a glider, or rent a boat and paddle on your own. The island of Bled was supposed to have been inhabited since the Stone Age, but only as a temporary fishing outpost. In the 17th century, the famous 99-foot stone staircase and the Mother of God Chapel were built on the island. The island is also known for ringing the bell. According to folk tradition, this is to fulfill all desires for those who ring on it. On Bled Island you can also see the Gothic lighthouse located near the southern entrance to the church and the baroque statue of Mary Magdalene. In winter, you can also take the island on foot if it is cold enough to freeze the lake. Bled Island is a wonderful place for a romantic wedding.

Do you have coronavirus cases in Slovenia??? We have 12 in Spain my friend
So far we don’t have it even though we are bordering on Italy …. I think it’s only a matter of time before it will appear ….. our authorities say they are ready …. I think panic is unnecessary …. as it is not so dangerous

But you have many different options …. you can rent a boat and paddle on your own or ride with a pletno
that is what I would do rent a boat and paddle out!
But it’s nicer to me when others drive me … you have more time to look and see
