Sharing a photo from a few years ago. After a memorial walk for suicide awareness and prevention, balloons were released by each of us parents that lost child to suicide.
A bittersweet moment for sure. Now they use bubbles to protect the environment. Glad I kept this photo as a memory of days gone by.
Hopefully this can be included in Kim’s Color Crazy challenge.

Yes, it is therapeutic as it releases the pain even though not all of it.

It is good fun , but despite releasing balloon we should birds from cage
This was to remember my son I lost. I agree doves or bubbles are more acceptable. This was not for fun.
We do that often to keep me on track. Lots of balloons have sailed.
