You don’t have to be a people pleaser, but you can be kind.
You don’t need to be a foot mat get off the floor and find a higher place.
You don’t need to scream just make your point well and you will be heard.
You don’t have to be rude you can still ensure that you get the message across.
You don’t have to be arrogant, humility can get the thing done as effectually as well.
You don’t have to display your wealth or power, people will respect you if you have what it takes.
You don’t have to be old to be wise even the young have wisdom.
You don’t always have to be right, no one ever is.
It is from the mistakes we learn the most, so its okay to make some, just don’t repeat them .

sometimes people feel like they can be meaner, go further online because nobody knows who they really are. Such are here on Virily. It is sad.
but the other side is also true. There are posts like this that are uplifting. Thank you!
That is very true Doc, I have seen that happen on other sites and the same kind of people here as well. Thankfully there are so many people here who are positive and who write uplifting posts.

I am so sorry to hear this. Why do people have to be mean? I just cannot understand this.

I simply stay away from people that are empowered to be mean.
I have grown a thick skin because all the places I write for are demanding and they tell you exactly how they want you to write and what to write and if you don’t do it right you don’t get paid so I always take everything very seriously and show them I can do it
That is so true, you can’t survive otherwise.
I have learned to rise above drama and attitudes.
That is the best way to live, I don’t let these things get under my skin as well.
