6. try desaturating the color version, perhaps tweak the levels or curves a bit?

   • Thanks, I actually made this photo a little darker because it was sitting on my dresser and the original shows me in the background mirror with my phone. 🙂 I will take another and play around with the color.

     • another thing to try is have the greyscale image on the bottom and the color layer above it and then play with the opacity, possibly even some layer modes

7. Lovely angel. I can never decide if I want to put an angel or a star on my Christmas tree. I started using a small artificial tree last year because Christmas is still a sad time for me but I do at least put up that tree
