RED VELVET CAKE
One of my favorite cakes is the red velvet cake. I love the cream cheese frosting best of all.
Did you know the cake is actually chocolate with a little coloring to make it appear red? Either way I still love this cake.
Have not made this cake in awhile, so no photos to share. This one came from a food site I use often for recipes.
There are some recipes that use a rich coco and the cake looks red. Others use a little food coloring.

we made red event cupcakes the other day (well the twins made them) due to kitchen safety rules I was forced to sample a few for quality.
I have had red velvet but it is not my favorite. I would rather have chocolate.
This is as good to me, with that cream cheese frosting.
I haven’t tried this cake yet. It looks very tasty.
Oh it is absolutely delicious. A favorite of mine.
