Thanks for sharing this good experience, we went camping too but have not encountered snakes. Don’t want to either

Camping camps is always a very exciting experience. We’ve always been to the mountains. I’d have made one such fishing trip along the river.

I did not camp with a tent. But I spent a lot of vacation in the camp and this in holiday trailer.

We used to go camping growing up but never saw those water snakes going after the catfish. We would see water moccasins. Our dogs would always come home with bites from those. Is that the same as a water snake?

Natrix Americanus or the common water snake is smaller and not as dangerous as the water moccasins you used to encounter. By a lot.
They are, however, meaner. They will bite first!

Camping has always thrilled me … I was pumping a lot … I spent all my holidays in a tent … it’s no better when you’re so connected with nature … now I’m too old to roll on the pillows … I’m going to go to the apartment … maybe I’m thinking of car home and coming back to nature

Over the years it’s becoming increasingly difficult at all in terms of placing and plumbing, and then at home cleaning … one pile of work ….
