Wonderful memories. Amusement parks are a great deal of fun. However, I am afraid of heights so I ride everything that is tame and avoid the roller coaster. You are a compatible family if you enjoy the coaters. My late husband was a big fan of them.
Fear of heights doesn’t bode well at amusement parks. There are luckily many things you can do at ground level!
In such amusement parks, we and our children can be equal, both in pleasure and fear. Except in terms of physical reality.
yep. The twins are split, one is terrified of heights and roller coasters. Although they will go on them a couple of times.

I remember so vividly going to the amusement parks with Dustin. He absolutely loved all the roller coasters. Me, not so much. But of course I went along for the ride. Great memories.
Roller Coasters are a lot like life itself. They have highs, they have lows. It is how you prepare for each that determines how much you enjoy the ride!
