St. James's Park

Another park that we visited during our trip to London was St. James’s Park. There were definitely a great variety of water fowl at this park. Plus, the birds were relatively used to people, so it was easy to get some nice shots. A fair number of very good posers. It’s nice to be able to get a nature break in a big city like London.

  2. I used to work quite close to St James’s Park and would walk across it during my lunch break. It is quite close to Whitehall – the seat of government in the UK – and it was not unusual to see cabinet ministers taking the air at the same time that I was!

    Some great photos by the way – although it has to be pointed out that the pelicans were introduced a long time ago and are not native birds in the British Isles!
