Sky Sunday – Auckland

This is where I caught a boat to go on a “Whales & Dolphins tour”…

In the background here is Auckland Harbour bridge.

If you go on such a tour, on  a day like this. Put on sunscreen, wear good sun glasses and wear good footwear and a sun hat…

    • A Whales & Dolphins is educational there are 2 types of “Whales & Dolphins tour” in Auckland, one is 360 degrees with marine biologists on board giving talks about marine life and whales & dolphins, the trip is 4 hours.
Another is a Dreamweaver Cruise which does the same thing but includes lunch on board and the trip begins earlier in the day than the 360 degree cruise

The rule is, if you don’t find whales & dolphins that day, you get another cruise free.

I have enjoyed all my cruises with both companies and yes, once I got a free cruise, because there were Orca whales out that eat other whales and dolphins..
