I photographed this tree in Wimbledon today, a town near where I live which I visit regularly. I don’t know what kind of tree this is: does anyone know? I don’t think it is cherry blossom; looks similar, but not quite the same. I first saw it the other day, and stopped to have a closer look, as I was fascinated by how beautiful and intricate the blossoms are. It’s important to pay attention to your surroundings, and really look at things, admire and appreciate lovely sights like this; that is where the true happiness of life lies, being present in the moment and paying close attention to your surroundings. I realised that some time back. It’s sad how many people are glued to their smartphones constantly these days, and miss what is going on around them! They miss out on real life, on small, beautiful, magical moments, the joy that comes from simply taking a moment or two to admire a flowering tree.

Wonderful flowers are seen in photography
Thank you Ghulam Jaffar.
Unfortunately, I do not know which tree is this. The flowers are wonderful.
Thank you vidocka. Yes, I must ask someone local what kind of tree it is.
I am not sure what tree it is, but it’s beautiful!
Thank you ellie925. Not cherry blossom then? I didn’t think it was.
Oh my gosh that tree is the most beautiful I have seen. Not sure the name. Wow!
Thank you so much Carol. It is very impressive, isn’t it?
Now this is a sight for sore eyes. Great picture thank you for sharing!
Thank you Bradley. Yes, I find it very cheering too.
That’s amazing, Maggie. The whole tree is filled with flowers!
Yes, such problems are a widespread phenomenon in today’s society.
Thank you Albert. Yes, modern life, eh?
Yep! The strange of the modern world.
That’s so lovely! I haven’t seen that one in our area. We don’t have a spring season in our country. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Sharon. What country do you live in?
I’m from the Philippines. We only have two seasons, wet and dry seasons (rainy and summer) We are now at the start of the summer season.
Wow! What a beautiful view. It may be time for me to go down to the valley and see if it’s spring down there.
Thank you Ghostwriter. Yes, do post some pics of trees in your area.
What a beautiful tree and wonderful flowers!
Thank you DocAndersen. Yes, I thought it was definitely worth photographing.
It is quite lovely – ps is that the Wimbledon?
Yes, that is *the* Wimbledon, the one with the world-famous tennis courts! I’ve never been to a tennis match there though, but hopefully I will some time.
Many years ago, I got to play a round of golf at the Augusta National golf course (Where they hold the Masters). A year after that I got to play the Old Course in Scotland.
The best two things ever!!!!!!!!!!!
Blossoms are my favorite part of spring, I can’t wait to start seeing them.
Me too tzwrites. I think Spring is my favourite season of the year, as there is still the promise of Summer to come afterwards.
