Symbols of Spring

Symbols of Spring is a list so long it could take all day so here are a few photos taken at August- September this year to show you this season in Auckland, New Zealand.

Today, we have Daylight saving as it is the equinox. The Maoris came to New Zealand long before the white man or European arrived. They sailed on the Equinox winds through the Pacific Ocean. We now put the clock one hour forward.

Further more, it is the election night. We cast all our votes and still we have no idea who got in until the votes are all counted.

Spring to me, represents new life. Growth and change. Here, it begins.
