This was taken at the Puketutu Island reserve.
In Mangere Bridge, there is the sewage works, and a long road goes from there to the Puketutu Island , which is private land, but there is a public walkway around it.
I stopped my car on the road and took several photos. This is one of them
This is the Paradise Duck. The male and female look quite different. They have odd voices for ducks. There are several Paradise Ducks there as well as Black Swans, Ducks and other birds.
Beautiful shots even ducks would be happy with it.
