What we know about the “colorful” little umbrellas in the woods

Since time immemorial, man has treated the higher mushrooms as a desirable treat, but the quantities that nature has offered as edible wild mushrooms have always been inadequate. Mushrooms should be picked up early in the morning before the fall of dew. Cut off with a knife and be careful not to get rid of the stalk from the soil. Thus their underground parts remain in the ground and the annual harvest of mushrooms increases. In addition, the initial cleaning is carried out. By using a knife, the mushrooms retain their shape, are not broken, fresh, hard and not stained with pine needles or noisy and grass. It is obligatory for the harvest to be processed on the same day, because even after one night they wither, soften and lose their freshness, and soon after they decay.

Do not wash the mushrooms if you market them because they will easily spoil and rot.
