These are some of the beauties that are blooming right now in Southern California. Below is a Asiatic Dayflower. I love its blue color, in fact they were used to color cloth.
It is also used as an herb. Its medicinal properties were used as treatment of sore throats and toncillitis.
A Cholla Cactus Bloom. They come in all warm colors, from yellow to deep red. Even brown.
A pink Eucalyptus Tree Bloom.
A huge bush of blue!
These just seemed to glow.
Not quite there yet, this one is about to bloom. 
I loved the deep purple of this unopened periwinkle. 
Here is one that is open.
White and Purple Daisies.
And I will end with this pretty blue Phlox.
