Canberra looks different

I arrived in Canberra on Saturday night and went to sleep straight away. I did not come out of my place on Sunday as the weather was not outing friendly. However, when I came out of my house and saw the street outside my house it was altogether different from what it was in February.

The trees and plants had no leaves and the weather was still too chilling for my liking at 5 degree C at 9 o’clock. I hope the weather will be pleasant in coming weeks.

What do you think?

  1. weather is always interesting isn’t it? When you travel between regions (close to the equator and then further away) that temperature shock gets you.

I remember landing in Singapore once (38 degrees C) after leaving Chicap (-3 degrees C) the heat was overwhelming

    • That’s right but for someone who has just arrived from a 35 degree C plus weather it’s a bit too chilly. Yes, it will warm up to something like 45 C in next 3 months. Canberra never was as hot it was last year.
