Seminole County Sheriff’s Office deputy Bill Dunn is making some good news for the people in his communtiy when he was pressed into service by the mother of a three year old girl who was inside an auto that had the windows open and the doors unlocked in an apartment parking lot in Sanford Florida on Sunday.
The story began when Casey Keller who is the mother of the three year old girl went with her child and two of her siblings to a liquor store on Saturday night around one hour before midnight.
What happened next after Casey came home to her apartment will shock you. Casey went inside her apartment with two of the three children. She left the three year old girl inside the auto by herself from near midnight through the next day which was around late morning.
When Casey realized that one of her children was missing, she called 911 to inform them that one of her children was missing.
Then Officer Dunn who was also altered to the incident before Casey called the police to inform him that a young girl was inside an auto by herself.
Officer Dunn then was shocked to see the young girl unconscious and with sweat all over her body. Officer Dunn then took the child out of the auto and into his police auto so he could use the power of the air conditioner in his police car so that the young girl could recover.
Then Officer Dunn took the child to a local hospital where she recovered from her health scare. Officer Dunn then went the extra mile by buying the young girl a unicorn for her present.
Casey was then taken into custody on charges on child endangerment. Officer Dunn was given a well deserved high praise from his superiors for saving the life of the child.
It was by the grace of God that the child did not die of heat stroke since the window was open and the auto was not locked.

The young lady will grow in character when she can find a friend to assist her in brush with death.
Indeed, very sad story about so irresponsible parent despite the happy ending. Hope that the girl quickly coped with the shock of this situation.
I am sure that the young girl will get assistance from a spiritual adviser to help her cope with her nightmare incident.
I only guessed that she was drunk since he made a trip to a liquor store before she went home with her children.
Unbelievable how many stories like this are reported, and then many unreported. Should not happen. Glad this was a happy ending.
I agree with you Carol on this item.
Life teaches us well great things in many unique ways. Casey who is negligent and the Dunn Officer who is the advisor and cares has taught them and us many things
You are correct since in my view Casey was probably not feeling well when she came home from the liquor store when she forgot to take home her child inside to her home.
I’ve got two words for her- Planned Parenthood. Seriously, even if population were not an issue some folks just should be parents. Birth control for everyone!
I agree with you since it appears that the mom forget about her child by leaving her inside the auto.
Appears? That was exactly what she did. And three is a small enough number that you should be able to notice without a headcount…
The mom may have been drunk or she was not all there upstairs when he forget what happened to her third child.
She was drunk before she even got out of the car?
A passionate story, taking care of children should be in the first place
You are correct on this call Branka.
Sometimes parents behave very irresponsibly. As the country is regulated there and the law is applied, the mother will be punished,
It would not be in Serbia.
I congratulate the policeman on the excellent job.
Me too since Officer Dunn did the right thing by taking care of the young girl and save her live.
Everyone should not have children.Especially not such irresponsible parents. This girl was lucky to have survived.
By the Grace of God, Officer Dunn was at the right place at the right time. Not to mention that the doors were not locked and the window was open.
