My first trip to Tennessee was for business and it was very interesting. Coming from the mountains to the flat country was a shock. It was then I discovered that the mountians were how I navigated the world. They were my sense of direction. I was totally lost.
Peabody Ducks
In honor of my first trip, here are the Peadbody ducks. These ducks live in the hotel. They have luxury quarters where they spend their time when they are not paddling the day away in the hotel lobby. They ride and elevator and there is great ceremony as they enter and leave the fountain.
The first animal to live in the fountain was a baby alligator. The ducks are simply a better choice.
These were so much fun to watch and there is a great story behind it.
