Is the Time Right?

I love this quote. It is hard to read, and the author is Stephan Richards. I don’t know why I try to encourage people to understand when they are not ready for it. I guess one of the benefits of putting it in writing is that they may stumble across it in a year or so and then the time will be right.

I feel blessed to know that words matter. I may not be around to reap all the benefits or problems, and still they will matter.

I try very hard to listen to both sides and find value in each. My Mom was fantastic with that. My Dad was my way of the highway. That is probably why he lives far away and alone. I think he prefers it.

I do hope I recognize times to open my mind and heart when they are available. It is something I should look for.

      • When I was first a teacher I got frustrated with all the teachers that were tenured and tired.

        My dad said fix it.

I actually started an international teaching society with more than 14,000 members at one point.

        My dad was shocked.
