This was taken from where I stayed in Rotorua, a small bush with a beautiful flower at the entrance.
I don’t have a macro lens, to get mine I stand well back and fit it in the camera. The eye tells me which shot is best.
Well, I have a lot to learn, but I like this shot and flower……..
Do you?
So delicate beauty!!! Just gorgeous shot, thank you so much for this joy!!!
Thanks so much Anastasia,,,,
Very good shot with a cloudy background.
Thanks that is great you like it, Elenka….Thanks for your kind comment.
This is a great picture – i love the mix of foreground and background. The red sets off both perfectly.
Thanks so much Doc, glad you like it.
Great picture, dear Pamela … this flower is something special … I have not seen it yet
Thanks Lado, I am not sure what it is called either, but it was at my host’s gate.
It does not matter what it’s called just that it is nice, my dear friend
Beautiful flower bush , thank you for sharing

This is a beautiful photo, however you get it done.
Thanks so much Gramps, glad you like it.
Great shot that one.
I must check whether my new camera has that feature.
I don’t have a macro camera I just focus on my subject and move either away or forward depending on what I see. I am sorry I am no expert here,
That is great news. I thought one must have that macro feature to get those shots. My camera does great close ups.
Fantastic shot. The flower is unique.
Thanks so much Vidocka, glad you like it.
This is a beautiful macro Pam. I use my macro setting often.
Thanks so much Carol, I don’t know how to get a macro setting I just point and shoot.
