Well, I have had quite a bit of a challenge with my life on this end. My husband had a shoulder replacement and here I have done most of the hard yards, cook, wash, clean, garden and chauffeur and just about everything else. I don’t mind as I would do it for myself anyway.
Sometimes work piles up and nothing seems to get done, such as my back yard.
Plus the fact that if my husband died I would be homeless unless I went for dual tenancy, which I have been working hard to achieve for quite a while.
Now I completed my part today and waited for half an hour on my cell phone to get through. We finally signed the papers for dual tenancy….It has now been approved…One worry gone.
Another is, in a past post I posted a picture of our fence blown down by a windy weekend. The people responsible for cleaning that up, took away the old corrugated iron fence, not only did they do that but they cleared up my back yard in one morning that would take me 5 days to do.
Not only did these 3 wonderful men clear the fence and backyard, but they took away an old desk outdoors that was going rotten.
Yes, soon I will have a replacement for the old fence a newer fence will be built. Probably wooden.
Glad everything is starting to work out for you.
Thanks Mark, it is good when things like that happen because I have had a very differcult year to plow through
These are great reasons to move forward.
Yes, they certainly are good reasons to go forward. Thanks so much Elenka
your endurance is an example to us all
Thanks so much for your encouraging words Alex. One does what one must do…Nothing is gained by impatience.
missed opportunities are gained by impatience…
That would be true, I had that problem of procrastination, now I am older I procrastinate less and then, “See it! Do it” or “Seize the Day!”
Balance between needing to be patient and then taking immediate action …
if you take the time to consider the appropriate course of action, you’re not procrastinating…
Sometimes we really have all the worries at one time. I believe that you will slowly save everything successfully.
Thanks Vidocka, that is great encouragement.
Praying for early recovery of your husband
Thanks so much Witty Feeds he needs it..
Sounds like lots going on!
Nice that they did more than tear down the old fence!
I hope your husband is feeling better – I had shoulder surgery 9 months ago. It is much better now!
Wonderful picture of a butterfly, dear Pam …. I’m glad you’ve arranged such a pink thing … and yet another fence will be soon … super
Thanks so much Lado, it has been great.
Your story is difficult, but it has a happy place.
Is it a real butterfly?
If so, how did you bred it?
Thanks Robin, yes it is a real butterfly, it is a Monarch Butterfly. In New Zealand Monarchs are very easy to breed, the first is to buy Swan plants and put them into the garden. A Swan plant is a type of milkweed.
Thank you very much for the explanation.
I did not know it was possible, but I learned now about it.
Forgot to mention, a monarch butterfly bred by me is photographed here.
