A Perfect Dessert

Wow, I have to admit when I saw this I was impressed and figured out how I could keep it simple and beautiful. I am going to get plain cheesecakes from the bakery. They taste great.  I love that they used edible flours, mints and berries to flavor and decorate the cake. I am going to have one displayed like this and one on  individual plates if the ladies want to do up their own. I would add one with pomegranate seeds or jam as well.

I realize that not everyone will love cheese cake. So I will have sliced angel food cake as an alternative to top.

I am up in air about what to serve to drink. I am hoping that someone will leave some suggestions in the comment.  Anyone?

  1. Love all flavors of cheesecake, but really have to be in mood for chocolate though. Some chocolate cheesecake is way to sweet. My favorite is strawberry cheesecake or really any fruit on top and you are right plain cheesecake from stores are good tasting for me.

  2. My doctor just told me last week that I need to cut out fruit. (I’m diabetic.) Of course she did this two days before the 4th of July and my wife had just bought a lot of strawberries and cantaloupe, my favorites. I’m eating them anyway. I’ll cut them out when I’ve finished what she bought.
