Poetry: Chance to Dance

How a man may think about those Saturday night dances.

Chances Chances

Mighty fine dances

Hey ma lady if you please

Turn around don’t be a tease

Dances are for the daring

And bold by heart

So grab this partner

And take a chance and dance

Reflection

An image came to my mind of a couple dancing, and then I imagined one of them was scared to accept the invitation to dance. Have your ever been afraid at a dance wondering if someone would ask you to dance, and then what would you say if that happened? I bet we all have had butterflies in our stomach, wondering about getting ask to dance or not.

I thought of this so fast I am not sure it is good or not. Please tell me your honest opinion about this poem. I usually do not write a poem this fast, so if you think it needs more work please let me know.

What do you think?
