Hidden in these sentences are names of fruits. The sentences are not clues to be solved but you have to look at the words carefully to discover the name of a fruit hidden within them.
Discover the names and post them in comments but do not look at the answers submitted by other people before trying on your own.

Suggestions for future quizzes in this format: animals, vegetables, boys’ names, girls’ names… Actually it doesn’t matter so long as the answers are generally familiar. It would be quite frustrating to spend a lot of time looking for a word you didn’t even know 🙂
Very well done Norman. Your sentence is a masterpiece… I can see the three fruits clearly but I will let someone else answer. I will post a few more unless people start getting bored.

I’m afraid I had no idea what the answers were but I like what makes me think!
It does seem a bit complicated at first but once you know the trick, it becomes easy. For example, look at this sentence: Clap please for the children’s performance.
If you look carefully you will find APPLE in words …clap please..Look again at the sentences and see if you can find the fruits now listed by Carol.
