I had an awesome Easter Weekend visiting my family in Johannesburg, South Africa. My sister’s kids already know that every time I come to visit, there is a special treat hidden in my handbag for them.
Here is Little AJ discovering his bag of treats, I wish we could have captured the innocent joy on his face when he realized the hidden treat was his.
And waiting impatiently for the bag to be opened so he can start enjoying the treats.

Wonderful image of the child and yourself.
Hehe. Thank you very much. I will never forget his face when he realised what’s hidden in the bag for him.
That is a great feeling that the child will have when he sees his present. Priceless.
Brings back happy memories, thank you for sharing.
It’s the good memories that keeps us going…
It’s always fun to discover the magic of children’s innocence, is not it?
So true Albert, it makes you wonder when the world corrupted you growing up.
That is our common concern. If we are not able to influence the world, at least we can uphold our own principles.
I remember my elderly cousin had a special hiding place under her table top where I knew I’d find something special — usually a small toy to keep me occupied while the adults talked. I think all kids enjoy looking for a treat and then finding it.
My parents also had friends when I was little. When we went to visit we will go straight to the room, the top drawer always had something to nibble on for us.
Nice. I always remember my two favorite aunts from when I was little. They were very special people. Sounds like you are a special aunt as well!
Yeah, I love her kids as if they are my own.
There is magic in that relationship 🙂 You never forget the people that were there for you when you were little!
Lol, I hope they will also remember when they grow up.
