I captured this beautiful tulip while out running errands. The vendors were really trying to sell what they could to the Valentine’s Day shoppers. I love the crimson red color on this tulip. Would not mind having this one in my garden. I may go back and see if they have any left. Such a striking contrast I thought. Enjoy your day and appreciate all the beauty around you.
What a fabulous deep red, and perfectly foiled by the green leaves. (See what I did there? ‘Foil’ if from the French for ‘leaf’ 🙂 )
I loved the crimson color, it caught my eye immediately. Yes I see what you did, funny man. 🙂
Nice photo! I like tulips, especially yellow ones.
Thanks I like all the colors. 🙂
Ah…perfectly pretty. Inspired. I have so many flower pictures and no rhymes for them. Until now…
“Some are grown in and some grown outdoors.
Some brought by friends or bought at the stores.
Bright beautiful colors, in shapes beyond scores.
I do love all flowers but, why are some called “eyesores?” Thanks you!
What a perfect flower poem. Thanks for sharing your poetic talent!
Poem? How flattering! Just rhymes. There are many real poets, I just wiggle and grin in a rhyming word spin…
Thank you shimmering swimmer!
Thanks I love the color of this one.
It’s gorgeous and looks like silk! Wonderful photo!
Thanks Ellie, I could not resist this macro, it was a stunner.
It is really pretty. Super great photography, looks like it could be in a magazine or flower advertisement.
You are too kind Kim, I have to confess I used my iPhone! 🙂 They were beautiful tulips.
It’s a beautiful flower, it would be nice to have a bunch of them in the garden.
I have a few and would like more, they are gorgeous with a lot together and different colors.
This tulip looks wonderful on this site.
Thanks! It was a quick snap and couldn’t resist a macro shot.
You are welcome Carol DM.
