Today is Miklavz’s evening. Miklavzevanje is an old winter habit, which is home in the entire Alpine region, where young boys on the 5th of December, turns every year to Parks, where accompanied by Saint Nicholas go from house to house, where children visit and gifted. Elderly people say that they only give good-hearted children. We were delighted because Saint Nicholas visited us and gave us a gift.

Who is that with Saint Nick? Is it Krampus or someone else?
In our country, we have three “good canvases”, which are mostly given to children. The first is St. Nicolas, the second is Santa Claus, and the third is the grandfather Frost who gifted for New Year. So all three were “created or fictitious” (I do not know how to say otherwise) for children.
but who is his chained up friend with the horns?
This is a devil, he scares the children who were not good at it ?
Interesting subject for Day 1 I have to say and very timely for the season
Thank you very much Harping

I will bring anything if the Miklavž was not generous
In Bulgaria today is also the feast of Saint Nicholas. Traditionally, fish is being prepared today. In many houses, a walnut caraway is made.
There are little differences in every country
