My sons took me on a Mother’s Day hike to a wonderful waterfall. Here are some of the nature “y” things that were along the way.

  It is a dead Live Oak tree. Fires went through a few years back.

  It sure did stand out. These are so dark. I have seen this kind of flower before but it was almost a lavender shade. I forgot what they are called though.

  It was an awesome day. It’s hard to get both sons off on the same day along with me. This was wonderful. We had a blast. They even went swimming.
