Sharing another great memory from my Dad’s home. This picture was always hanging on his dining room wall. When he bought his home many years ago, it came with the home, and he left it hanging in the same place. I always loved it. It is different. And the shape of the frame is so cool. The size is nice too, 28 inches wide and 40 inches tall. The frame is in perfect condition, a dark mahogany wood. I am looking now for a special place to hang it in my home. Such great memories to have this special picture now in my home. More of the little things in life to enjoy. Good memories.
There are memories that time does not erase. Forever does not make loss forgettable, only bearable.

I agree with you that is indeed a beautiful thing to keep no wonder your dad did not throw it away
I love pictures like this, in a way I am reminded of Nonna, thank you for sharing!
You are very welcome Michelle, glad I could help.
Beautiful picture in a stylish frame. Add sentimental value and this photo of yours is quite priceless. 🙂
Thank you very much, it is special to my heart.

Thank you Elenka for sharing those words.
It is important to maintain and care for such historic and valuable things.
Absolutely, forever memories. This will be in my home forever.
If not you, who else? Btw, who is now living in your father’s house?
It was sold. He lived in another state. I am the only sibling left and I am rooted here where I live now. It was difficult to walk away from his home.
I see, I understand very well, Carol.
That is a great picture. Love that frame too. So good you get to see it everyday now. : )
Thanks Kim I have always admired. It at his home.
I do love those quotes you find, Carol! That is a very special memory, and isn’t it wonderful that you can look at it every day and let the good memories flow.
These quotes get me through the hard times and I am always searching for more. This picture represents a piece of my Dad. Very thankful.
