crazy color challenge – blue (angel)

Inspired by the Marillion song by the same name, I’ve wanted to do this piece for a long time. It is a very sad song, so don’t listen to it unless you’re prepared. This is a very rough version, the final will have volumetric lighting above her

you might think this is a poor color choice for the hair, but I think it is nice because you can really see how it frames the face

Maybe it’s me. I can’t decide on what I like lately. hahaha, I am not sure about the hair blended to the background. But on the other had it is cool how she is just appearing from the shadows.

I agree with Kim. Her hair sort of shadows into the background. Maybe that is good.

I like the hair in #2 but like the natural nail. The other reason I like #2 is that her hair doesn’t blend in with the background. Don’t care for the bows. Even in blue they don’t do anything for her look. Just my lowly opinion.
